Welcome to the New updated Chatham Town Youth & Community Section
Latest News
Monday 18th May
Chatham Town U11’s have now clinched back to back league title successes in the Invicta primary Football League, as they followed up their success from last seasons U10’s Division 4 league winning season, to clinch the under 11’s Division 3 league trophy this season.
Chatham Town U11’s faced some stiff opposition in their first season at 11 a-side, but by finishing the season undefeated in winning all 18 games played is a major achievement at any level, and something that the squad and manager can be especially proud of, and an achievement that Chatham Town FC itself should recognise.
Everyone has played a big part in the U11’s success, but special recognition should go to the players for their continued efforts to keep their unbeaten run going, and should be applauded for the style and manner in which they played their football.
Congratulations to everyone involved, players, manager, coaches and parents.
And lets hope that the Chatham Town U11’s success has an impact on the Youth Section within Chatham Town FC, and it continues to flourish in the future.
Well Done Chatham Town U11’s!!

THE MAIDSTONE ROAD MILE
Saturday 20th March from 1:00pm
This coming Saturday (March 20th) at 1:00pm at the Maidstone Road Sports Ground, Chatham, approximately 50 members of the CHATHAM TOWN FC JUNIOR SECTION (boys and girls aged 8-16) as well as some parents too will take part in the MAIDSTONE ROAD MILE IN AID OF SPORT RELIEF 2010.
All the competitors will be required to complete THREE laps of the outside of the Maidstone Road Sports Ground before finishing the final part of their journey on the half way line of the main pitch.
The event will be started by PAUL NIHILL MBE, who now lives in Medway, who won a silver medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics for the 50km walk and is the grandfather of current Chatham Town striker ROB DENNESS. As well as starting the event, Paul will also be presenting commemorative souvenirs to all those who complete the course during the half time interval of the Ryman One South game between Chatham Town and Fleet Town – kick off 3:00pm.
As well as that, we are hoping to have a local band playing before the game and will have the customary collection bucket doing the rounds as is the case on days like this during the afternoon… |
