Ashford Borough favourites to win the league this season got a shock from a injury ravaged Chats side.Chatham Town edged the opening 10 mins when Borough opened from an unchallenged header from a corner on 11 mins. Chats lifted their game and replied from Ryan Holsgrove on 19 minutes. Chatham grew in strength and a well worked move starting from the back ended in Holsgrove netting again on 23 minutes, 1-2 at half time. The second half saw Borough throw everything at Chatham who dealt with the pressure. Borough did score on 35 mins but denied by the ref for a foul on the keeper, final score, Ashford Borough 1 v Chatham Town 2.
